ICS Netherlands is an approved studbook under EU 92/353 and 92/354, and follows the principles of the studbook of origin in Ireland.
ICS-NL is entitled to register Irish Cobs in all member states of the EU, and Norway and Switzerland. ICS-NL passports are valid in all EU countries.
ICS-NL have around 650 members in 9 EU Countries (including Ireland) and have inspections planned in Holland, France, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Czech Republic. ICS-NL Belgian members have their own society since 2008 now with approx. 1000 Cobs, ICS-NL work closely together and the Belgian members receive ICS-NL club magazine.
The ICS-NL studbook contains at the moment around 5.000 registered Irish Cobs, in 2008 1.000 were added.
Norway is a "breeders community" under ICS-NL.
